As most of you know, life tends to change courses on us and the Cayman Airways are no exception. Instead of flying home with the gang on Saturday, God and Cayman Airways decided that I should stay an extra night with my sissy and then take an adventure on the streets of Chicago before arriving home in the wee hours of Monday morning. Seriously folks...God knows best and my detour allowed me some awesome time with my sister and a great exploration.
I had a 10 hr layover in Chicago and I had never been there so I decided to hop the "L" into the city for a quick adventure.
I was trying to pose like I was cold, because I was FREEZING in this picture, but instead I think I just look like Gollum from Lord of the Rings.
Chicago apparently has this big gigantic metal bean shaped thing in their park that all the natives there are proud of. Honestly, I don't get it, but whatever... I had fun posing and taking pictures into it.
