Today we went to the MTC in Sentani. We went to their morning devotions and lessons with them. Joerg and I both learned a ton of new words this morning, but as you can imagine, sitting through several hours of a language that you don't understand was hard work. I was able to follow along through the devotion in Psalm 1 as they talked about the paths a man can choose to walk. The second lesson was 3 hours long and my attention span didn't quite stretch that far.
.
Something you may not know about me is that I have never been the best at praying. But there is something about being out of your element that really reminds me who we are and Who is in charge. I have been growing in the Lord this week and have been reminded how sweet it is to stay close to the Lord in prayer as well.
These are all of the MTC students that are living here, training to be missionaries in their own country. They are faithful men learning how to teach others about Christ.

Eli was also very surprised that the first picture of you and and the missionary men in training loved the same God that he loved. It made him very excited.... Well we are off for the afternoon - have a good day :)
What a great reminder about prayer for all of us! We tend to only pray when we think we need God's help and the reality is we do need God's help every second even in the comfort of everyday life. You and Joerg are in our prayers.
Is the dog being looked after? had to ask...
Thank you Jen for posting so faithfully. I read your bogs all the time and wrap you guys in prayer. When I see your pictures it's allmost like we are there too.
I'm glad you are feeling better now! Keep up the good work.
Greetings to all, Johanna
